1. Not emergency care
LuxeFlow is a scheduled, concierge wellness service. We are not an emergency service. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke (sudden weakness, speech changes, facial drooping), severe bleeding, an allergic reaction, or any other life-threatening symptom, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
2. Not a substitute for primary or specialist care
The content on luxeflowiv.com — including blog posts, treatment descriptions, frequently asked questions, and comparison pages — is provided for general educational purposes. It is not medical advice and does not establish a physician-patient relationship. Always consult your own physician or other qualified healthcare provider with questions about a medical condition, symptom, or treatment decision. Do not delay or disregard medical advice because of something you read on our site.
3. Wellness intent
Our IV therapies, nutrient add-ons, and GLP-1 programs are intended to support hydration, recovery, and general wellness. Treatments are not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any specific disease. Statements about benefits reflect common client reports and current nutritional understanding, not guarantees of outcome.
4. Individual results vary
How you respond to any treatment depends on many factors — your baseline hydration and nutritional status, sleep, stress, underlying conditions, concurrent medications, and genetics. Results described by other clients, shown in testimonials, or discussed in blog posts are not promises of your personal outcome.
5. Screening, consent, and the right to decline
Before any treatment you will complete a written intake and consent. Our nurse or supervising physician may decline or modify a treatment based on your disclosed history, current medications, vital signs, pregnancy status, allergies, or anything else observed during the visit. If clinical concerns arise during treatment we may stop and direct you to a higher level of care.
6. Known risks of IV therapy
Even when delivered by a licensed clinician, IV therapy has known risks, including:
- Bruising, swelling, or discomfort at the IV site.
- Phlebitis or, rarely, infection.
- Vasovagal response (lightheadedness, nausea, brief fainting).
- Electrolyte disturbances, particularly for clients with kidney, heart, or liver disease.
- Allergic reactions to specific ingredients.
- Fluid overload if medically contraindicated.
Your nurse will review risks relevant to your selected drip before starting. Report any unusual symptom during or after the visit promptly.
7. GLP-1 and compounded medication programs
GLP-1 receptor agonists (including compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide) are prescription medications. Participation in any GLP-1 program requires physician evaluation, ongoing clinical oversight, and adherence to the prescribed protocol. These medications carry specific risks — including gastrointestinal side effects, gallbladder events, pancreatitis, and rare but serious reactions — which will be reviewed in detail at your consultation. Do not adjust dose or combine with other weight-loss medications without physician approval.
8. Contraindications and special populations
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding: certain ingredients and protocols are not appropriate; disclose status at intake.
- Kidney, heart, or liver disease: fluid and electrolyte load may be restricted or treatment declined.
- Current infection, fever, or acute illness: we will generally defer elective IV therapy.
- Clotting disorders or anticoagulant therapy: disclose at intake so IV site care can be adjusted.
- Under 18: we do not treat minors without a parent or legal guardian present and consenting.
9. External links and referenced research
Our blog and comparison pages cite peer-reviewed research where possible. Links to third-party sites are for reader convenience; we do not endorse and are not responsible for the content or claims of external sites. A cited study supports the specific point in the referenced sentence — it is not a claim that our services replicate the study’s protocol or outcomes.
10. Medication interactions
Some IV ingredients interact with prescription medications. Disclose all current prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and supplements at intake. If you are uncertain, ask us to coordinate with your prescribing physician before your appointment.
11. Reporting a concern or adverse event
If you believe you experienced an adverse event related to one of our services, contact us at hello@luxeflowiv.com or (480) 555-0100 as soon as you are safe. In a medical emergency call 911 first, then notify us.
12. Updates
We review this disclaimer periodically as our services and clinical protocols evolve. The “Effective” date above reflects the most recent revision.
